The Ministry of Health in Oman will host the Oman International Pharmaceutical Conference and Exhibition (OIPCX) on Monday. The conference will focus on the theme, “From Cost to Value-Based Healthcare: Integrating Clinical Audit and Pharmacoeconomics.”
The event will be inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal al Sabti, Minister of Health. Several officials from the Ministry of Health will also be present at the event. This marks a significant occasion for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in Oman and the region.
The conference will feature 46 speakers from international, Gulf, and local backgrounds. These experts will present 43 working papers covering the latest advancements in pharmaceutical practices. The aim is to update professionals on current trends, challenges, and solutions in the pharmaceutical sector.
In addition to the main conference, there will be four specialized workshops on health economics. These workshops aim to provide attendees with in-depth knowledge of the economic aspects of healthcare. They will also focus on how health economics plays a crucial role in improving the healthcare system.
The event will not only feature discussions and workshops but will also include an exhibition. The exhibition will showcase products from leading international pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and pharmacies based in Oman. This exhibition will offer valuable networking opportunities and a chance for attendees to learn about the latest products in the market.
