Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, met with Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister, during an official visit to Uzbekistan. The two ministers engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between their countries.
They explored ways to improve bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and the economy. Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding ties in sectors such as education, culture, tourism, and renewable energy. Sayyid Badr highlighted Oman’s interest in strengthening partnerships with Uzbekistan, particularly in trade and sustainable development.
In addition to economic matters, they also addressed opportunities for collaboration in infrastructure and logistics. Both ministers recognized that improving these sectors would enhance the economic partnership between the two nations, advancing mutual interests. The meeting was attended by Sayyida Wafa Jabr Al Busaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, along with several officials from both governments.
