Coca-Cola Bahrain Boosts Production to Meet Rising Beverage Demand

Coca-Cola Bahrain has ramped up its production to meet the rising demand for bottled water and other beverages. The company aims to ensure consumers can access products without interruptions during this period.

According to Mohammed Salmi, Regional Sales Manager, the plant has increased its daily production from 30,000 cases to 50,000 cases. Furthermore, the plant plans to reach 60,000 cases per day to create a sufficient reserve stock. These measures directly respond to the rising demand in the Bahraini market.

Salmi highlighted that the plant produces Arwa and Safia bottled water alongside other Coca-Cola beverages. He stressed that production teams work around the clock, coordinating closely with government agencies and relevant institutions. By doing so, they maintain product availability throughout the kingdom.

In addition, Salmi explained that the company covers roughly 50% of Bahrain’s total bottled water demand. The initial surge in purchases was linked to stockpiling by some consumers and retailers, a common occurrence during periods of uncertainty. Consequently, Coca-Cola Bahrain carefully distributes quantities to match retailers’ actual consumption rates. This approach prevents hoarding, price manipulation, and product monopolies.

Moreover, the company maintains a 30% production reserve above normal demand. This ensures it can respond immediately to any unexpected spikes in consumption or emergency situations. Salmi emphasized that raw materials and production capacities are always available, highlighting the company’s preparedness and commitment.

Salmi also noted that Coca-Cola Bahrain distributes products fairly among retail outlets, government-supported locations, and service centers. This coordinated effort guarantees easy access for all consumers. Additionally, management ensures staff continue working efficiently while following safety protocols and operational guidelines.

The Regional Sales Manager concluded by reassuring the public that Arwa, Safia, and other Coca-Cola products remain available. He reiterated the company’s commitment to addressing the rising demand responsibly, ensuring consumers can rely on a consistent supply of beverages across Bahrain.
