The discussions focused on arrangements for the Sultan’s visit, which both sides described as a significant milestone in relations between Oman and France.

The ministers also reviewed opportunities to expand cooperation across a range of sectors, building on the longstanding partnership between the two countries and supporting their shared interests.

In addition, the talks covered regional and international developments, with both sides reaffirming the importance of continued coordination on issues of mutual concern.

The meeting forms part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to deepen bilateral relations ahead of the high-level talks between Sultan Haitham and French President Emmanuel Macron.
