Doha – The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has intensified its regulatory measures to monitor healthcare practitioners in Qatar. This ensures full compliance with laws and policies governing the health sector.
As part of its 2025 monitoring initiatives, conducted by the Health Specialties Department in coordination with other relevant bodies, the ministry has taken legal action against multiple violators. This includes action against the institutions where they operate.
Recently, two private dental clinics were shut down due to serious regulatory breaches. One clinic was found employing unlicensed practitioners. The other allowed healthcare providers to operate beyond the scope of their professional licenses.
The MoPH reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in healthcare services. The ministry emphasized that strict monitoring and enforcement measures will continue. These measures safeguard patient safety and uphold professional integrity across the sector.
