Lusail University Convocation 2025 Celebrates Future Leaders and Academic Excellence

Lusail University Convocation 2025 celebrated the graduation of its second cohort on Sunday with great pride. The grand ceremony took place at the Qatar National Convention Centre. Clearly, the event reflected Qatar’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and national development.

Many distinguished guests attended the ceremony, showing strong support for education. For example, Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater participated in the event. Additionally, Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi was present. Alongside them stood Minister of Environment and Climate Change Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Subaie and Minister of Labour Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri.

The Chairman of Lusail University’s Board of Trustees, Dr Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, also joined the ceremony. Furthermore, members of the Board, government officials, and academic leaders witnessed the celebration. Their presence highlighted the strong collaboration between the education sector and national institutions.

During his speech, Dr Nitham Hindi, President of Lusail University, addressed the graduates. He described the moment as the result of determination and growth. Moreover, he emphasized the importance of education in shaping Qatar’s future. “This day is more than a celebration,” he said. “It reflects our dedication to innovation, leadership, and academic integrity.”

Notably, he recognized the hard work and perseverance of both students and faculty members. He pointed out that Lusail University Convocation 2025 is a symbol of the country’s educational progress. He also encouraged students to remain ambitious and continue contributing to Qatar’s development.

After the speeches, graduates walked proudly across the stage. Families cheered as each name was called. At the same time, university leaders offered their congratulations and support.
