Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to prioritizing youth development in the country. In a statement marking Kuwait Youth Day on March 13, Al-Mutairi highlighted that the nation’s youth form the largest segment of society. They play a crucial role in sustainable development.

Al-Mutairi praised Kuwait’s leadership for their consistent dedication to nurturing young citizens and fostering their growth across various fields. He noted that the government’s ongoing efforts are focused on ensuring youth actively participate in the country’s progress.

The minister emphasized the importance of the General Authority for Youth’s year-round programs. These programs are implemented under the National Youth Policy at youth centers across all six governorates. The initiatives are designed to help young people develop their skills and talents in various sectors. These sectors include technology, entrepreneurship, social and economic fields, and culture.

One of the key aspects of these programs is their inclusiveness and diversity. This inclusiveness allows young men and women to pursue their aspirations and achieve significant progress in multiple developmental areas.
