Kuwait continues to hold a respected place on the world stage, as emphasized by Aziz Al-Dehani, the Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs, during his participation in the “Open Family Day” organized by the Diplomatic Corps Deanship at the Kuwait Shooting Club. The event, which saw approximately 170 diplomats and their families attend, was part of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day celebrations.
Al-Dehani expressed his deep appreciation for the diplomatic community’s congratulations and support for Kuwait on these significant occasions. He also commended the initiative by the Deanship of the Diplomatic Corps, which showcased Kuwait’s esteemed international status and highlighted the global nature of its celebrations.
In addition, His Excellency Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait, reaffirmed Kuwait’s global significance. He noted the country’s dedication to introducing the diplomatic community to its customs, traditions, and cultural events, particularly as it prepares to serve as the Arab Capital of Culture in 2035.
Al-Dehani further underscored the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ commitment to engaging with the diplomatic corps, ensuring ongoing collaboration between Kuwait and the international community. He also shared details about the consular administration’s working hours during Ramadan, noting the flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of both citizens and residents.
Duaij Al-Otaibi, President of the Kuwaiti and Arab Federation of the Kuwait Shooting Club, also expressed his gratitude for the participation of the diplomatic corps in the event, emphasizing the positive impact of such initiatives in fostering stronger international relations.
