Kuwaiti Crown Prince Engages Top US Business Leaders to Advance National Vision

The Representative of Kuwait’s Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, held a series of high-level meetings in New York. Specifically, Kuwait’s Crown Prince Meets US CEOs from leading financial and media firms. The discussions aimed to strengthen economic ties and attract international investment to Kuwait.

The meetings took place at Kuwait’s office within the United Nations. The Crown Prince first met with David M. Solomon, the CEO of Goldman Sachs. Subsequently, he received Michael Rubens Bloomberg, the CEO of Bloomberg Company. Furthermore, Kuwait’s Crown Prince Meets US CEOs included a session with Laurence Douglas Fink, the CEO of BlackRock.

During these engagements, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir. He emphasized Kuwait’s desire to boost the presence of global companies within the country. The discussions focused on economic and investment topics. Consequently, both parties explored ways to bolster cooperation. This initiative aligns strategically with Kuwait Vision 2035, a national development plan aimed at diversifying the economy.

The Crown Prince highlighted the value of leveraging the vast experience of these international firms. Therefore, this high-level dialogue marks a significant step in Kuwait’s outward-looking economic strategy. The goal is to foster partnerships that contribute to sustainable growth and development.

The meetings were attended by a high-ranking Kuwaiti delegation. This group included Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya and the Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Other officials from the Amiri Diwan and Kuwait’s embassy in the US were also present.

Ultimately, the event underscores Kuwait’s active efforts to engage with global financial leaders. The participation of such prominent companies signals strong international interest in Kuwait’s market potential.
