Kuwait Vision 2035 Drives High-Level Investment Talks in New York

Kuwait’s Crown Prince recently spearheaded significant economic discussions. He met with top American business leaders in New York. Consequently, these talks mark a major step to strengthen international partnerships. The central theme of the dialogue was Kuwait Vision 2035. This national development plan clearly aims to diversify the economy.

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah led the meetings. He serves as the Representative of His Highness the Amir. The gatherings occurred at Kuwait’s Office at the United Nations. Furthermore, the Crown Prince held individual talks with three financial industry giants. He met Goldman Sachs CEO David M. Solomon. He also met Bloomberg CEO Michael Rubens Bloomberg. Finally, he met BlackRock CEO Laurence Douglas Fink.

During these important discussions, the Crown Prince conveyed warm greetings. He delivered these greetings on behalf of His Highness the Amir. He also emphasized the country’s strong aspirations. Specifically, Kuwait seeks to enhance the presence of global companies. The nation also wants to benefit from their world-class expertise. All these efforts directly align with the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.

The conversations addressed key economic and investment issues. Both parties explored avenues for stronger cooperation. Therefore, the meetings focused on building mutually beneficial relationships. This strategy aims to attract foreign direct investment. Moreover, it seeks to transfer valuable knowledge to the local market.

A high-level Kuwaiti delegation attended these meetings. Their presence underscored the talks’ importance. Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya was present. Also in attendance was Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. He is the Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority. Additionally, Mazen Issa Al-Issa attended as Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan.

The delegation also included Sheikh Al-Zain Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah. He serves as Kuwait’s Ambassador to the United States. Ambassador Bader Al-Tunaib was there too. Finally, Tareq Mohammad Al-Bannai, Kuwait’s UN Permanent Representative, joined the meetings. This unified presence demonstrated a coordinated national effort.
