Kuwait has reaffirmed its focus on strengthening diplomatic ties with key international partners following a series of high-level meetings with foreign envoys in the capital.
Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, met ambassadors from Cuba, China, and India to review bilateral relations and explore opportunities for expanded cooperation across multiple sectors.


During talks with Cuba’s ambassador, both sides highlighted the steady development of relations and discussed ways to further enhance collaboration in areas that serve shared interests. The meeting reflected a mutual intent to deepen engagement and build on existing diplomatic ties.
In a separate discussion with China’s ambassador, officials focused on the growing strategic partnership between Kuwait and China. The talks emphasized progress in recent years, particularly in development, economic cooperation, and infrastructure projects. Both sides also explored ways to expand collaboration in line with shared ambitions.
Talks with India’s ambassador highlighted the longstanding historical relationship between Kuwait and India. Officials reviewed ongoing cooperation across various sectors and discussed mechanisms to further strengthen ties and expand partnership frameworks.
The meetings underline Kuwait’s continued commitment to building strong international relationships and advancing cooperation with partner countries across political and economic fields.
