Kuwait Relief Campaign for Gaza Demonstrates Strong National Solidarity

The Kuwait relief campaign for Gaza has successfully concluded, raising over KD 6.5 million in just three days. Undoubtedly, this nationwide initiative reflected widespread public support and remarkable generosity.

To begin with, the campaign was launched by the Ministry of Social Affairs. It partnered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kuwait Red Crescent Society. Moreover, several Kuwaiti charitable foundations joined the effort to ensure a unified national response.

From the outset, the Kuwait relief campaign for Gaza attracted large-scale donations from individuals and organizations. In fact, over 63,000 people contributed through the official online platform alone.

Furthermore, electronic donations totaled KD 2.5 million, showing the strong digital engagement of citizens. Contributions poured in steadily throughout the campaign, clearly highlighting the deep concern for Gaza.

In addition, major entities played a significant role. The General Secretariat of Endowments donated KD 500,000. The Direct Aid Society added KD 1.3 million. The Patients’ Aid Fund also gave KD 476,010.

Likewise, the Islamic Heritage Revival Society contributed KD 235,440, further boosting the total raised. Together, these organizations underscored the unity behind the campaign’s mission.

Meanwhile, organizers focused primarily on providing food aid to families in Gaza. All food items came from the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, therefore ensuring regulated and high-quality supplies.

Currently, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society is managing aid delivery. This is done in coordination with humanitarian partners in Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine. As a result, the assistance reaches those in urgent need.

Accordingly, Cabinet Resolution No. 1461 guided the logistics of in-kind food donations. All contributions followed strict procedures for safety and accountability.

In a statement, a spokesperson from the Ministry of Social Affairs described the effort as a clear reflection of Kuwait’s ongoing humanitarian commitment. Indeed, the ministry believes the initiative highlights national values and strong public awareness.

Ultimately, the Kuwait relief campaign for Gaza shows how quickly the country can mobilize support for urgent causes. In essence, the campaign became a symbol of unity, compassion, and swift action in times of crisis.
