Kuwait Opens Second Manpower Shelter Center in Hawalli for Workers

Under the patronage of Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower opened a new men’s shelter center in Hawalli. Spanning 10,000 square meters, the center has an initial capacity of approximately 200 inmates.

The center is fully equipped with sleeping rooms, sports fields, entertainment halls, offices for relevant authorities, a prayer room, a medical clinic offering primary services, a restaurant, and a central kitchen. Inmates will be accommodated for an indefinite period until they complete the adjustment of their legal status.

This initiative reflects Kuwait’s commitment to providing support and welfare for workers while facilitating their legal status resolution.
