Furthermore, this recognition by the International Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Maternity Medicine (ISOAMM) reaffirms Kuwait’s role as a leader in maternal healthcare.
The accreditation is valid for four years, marking the department as a distinguished center for obstetric anesthesia. The final decision came after careful consideration of the department’s comprehensive care.
Dr. Qasim noted that this accreditation is part of the Centers of Excellence Program, which honors institutions providing exceptional care to pregnant women. The evaluation process involved a detailed review by three independent reviewers from the ISOAMM’s committee. These reviewers analyzed various aspects of care, including clinical practices and patient outcomes, before granting the prestigious recognition.
