Kuwait Introduces New Passport Fees: 13 Dinars for 5 Years, 16 for 10 Years

Kuwait’s Official Gazette recently published Ministerial Resolution No. 180 of 2025, which introduces new fees and modifies existing charges for various services provided by the General Administration of Nationality and Travel Documents.

The resolution adds two new clauses to Article One of Ministerial Resolution No. 1971/20, specifying the following updated provisions:

  • Issuance or renewal of an immediate passport at the airport for a five-year period will cost 13 dinars.
  • Issuance or renewal of an immediate passport at the airport for a ten-year period will cost 16 dinars.

The decision, effective immediately upon publication in the Official Gazette, mandates the Undersecretary of the Ministry to oversee its implementation.
