The event brings together athletes from across the region, and it highlights Kuwait’s growing role in shaping international sports progress. The introduction of wider participation and professional organization also strengthens expectations for steady international sports progress throughout this championship.

The organizing team at the Kuwait Sea Sports Club confirmed full readiness for the event. Moreover, the team outlined the championship schedule and emphasized the importance of smooth coordination. The preparations cover all technical needs, logistical plans, and safety requirements.

The championship features 45 athletes from nine national teams. These teams come from the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Sudan, and Kuwait. Their involvement adds strong credibility and valuable experience to the races.

The races begin daily at 10:00 AM at Messila Beach. The competitions include three classes: Optimist, ILCA 4, and ILCA 6. Furthermore, the coastal location offers ideal conditions for stable winds and safe navigation. The organizing committee expects intense competition due to the experience level of the participating athletes.

The closing ceremony will take place on Friday at 6:00 PM in Salmiya. The event will welcome officials from the Arab Sailing Federation along with club representatives and participating teams.
