Kuwait Gulf Oil and Ahmadi Governorate Celebrate National Day with Gulf Brothers at Nuwaiseeb Port

In celebration of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day, the Al-Ahmadi Governorate, in partnership with the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, hosted a special event at Nuwaiseeb land port. This gathering warmly welcomed visitors from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, highlighting the deep-rooted ties and historical bonds between Kuwait and its Gulf neighbors.

The event featured elaborate decorations at Nuwaiseeb port, courtesy of the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, which aimed to showcase the nation’s rich heritage and cultural pride. Visitors were greeted with hospitality, given souvenirs, and treated to lively performances by the Al-Ardha band, reflecting Kuwait’s deep cultural traditions.

Governor of Al-Ahmadi Governorate, Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, expressed his appreciation for the presence of GCC brothers, emphasizing that the celebrations were a warm welcome to them in Kuwait, their second home. He highlighted the significance of the event as a reflection of the unity and friendship shared between Kuwait and its Gulf neighbors.

During the event, Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, accompanied by his delegation, toured the port facilities and extended congratulations to the employees of the Passports and Customs Department and other representatives of government agencies working at the port. He also visited Al-Khiran City, where he met with personnel from the Interior Ministry at Al-Khiran Police Station, firefighters at the Al-Khiran Fire Force, and medical staff at Al-Khiran Medical Center. He commended their dedication and service throughout the year, particularly during national holidays, and explored ways to enhance cooperation to improve the quality of services.

The Governor reiterated that this event was a testament to Kuwait’s hospitality and its commitment to strengthening ties with the GCC. He emphasized that it celebrated not only Kuwait’s national heritage but also the Arab and Gulf traditions that unite the region.

The Kuwait Gulf Oil Company also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national events and fostering stronger community relationships. The company expressed pride in its collaboration with the Ahmadi Governorate, recognizing the essential role of Nuwaiseeb land port as a key gateway for travelers and a symbol of Kuwait’s warm hospitality.

The event exemplified the strong bonds between Kuwait and the GCC countries, sharing in the pride and joy of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day celebrations. It further reinforced the importance of cooperation and mutual respect within the Gulf region, ensuring the continued prosperity and unity of the Arab world.
