Kuwait Dispatches Seventh Aid Flight to Gaza with 10 Tons of Food

The Kuwait air bridge for Gaza has dispatched another critical mission. Importantly, a seventh aircraft departed from Kuwait on Tuesday. It carried 10 tons of essential food aid. The flight left from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base. Consequently, its destination was Marka Military Airport in Jordan.

This effort is part of a major humanitarian campaign. The campaign is called “Kuwait Is by Your Side”. Moreover, it demonstrates urgent solidarity with Gaza. The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is leading the operation. They are cooperating with several government ministries. These include Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense.

Furthermore, Khalid Al-Maqamis is the Chairman of KRCS. He spoke about the ongoing mission. He stated that convoys are continuous. They follow high-level directives. Additionally, they address critical needs for vital assistance. This work reflects Kuwait’s core humanitarian principles.

Al-Maqamis also highlighted the coordination involved. There is ongoing work with Kuwait’s embassy in Jordan. They also work with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization. Furthermore, they coordinate with the Palestinian Red Crescent. This ensures the efficient delivery of aid to those in need.

Moreover, he praised the nation’s leadership for their support. He thanked HH the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. He also thanked HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. Furthermore, he thanked HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Their backing for humanitarian work is continuous and strong.

To date, the Kuwait air bridge has achieved a significant milestone. The second air bridge has now delivered 100 tons of essential supplies. This aid falls under the “Fazza for Gaza” campaign. Ultimately, the Kuwait air bridge remains a vital lifeline.
