Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs has unveiled plans to launch a national fundraising campaign aimed at clearing the debts of citizens. Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, made the announcement during a group breakfast hosted by the Public Authority for the Disabled at the Social Care Homes Complex in Sulaibikhat.
As reported by Al Jarida newspaper, the upcoming campaign will be managed directly by the Ministry of Social Affairs, in collaboration with registered charitable organizations across the country. The initiative is expected to begin soon and will focus on alleviating the financial burden of citizens struggling with debt.
Al-Huwailah emphasized that the campaign aims to provide relief to individuals facing financial difficulties, ensuring that the initiative is carried out with transparency and under strict supervision. By working with charitable societies, the Ministry hopes to mobilize community support and raise funds efficiently to support those in need.
This campaign reflects Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to provide social welfare and support to its citizens, particularly during times of financial hardship.
