Kuwait And Syria Discuss Ways To Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Kuwait and Syria have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations during high-level talks held in Kuwait on Monday.

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Al-Shaibani, who is on an official visit to the country.

According to Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers discussed the longstanding ties between their countries and explored ways to expand cooperation across a range of sectors in support of shared interests.

The meeting also covered the latest regional developments, with both sides exchanging views on the current escalation and its wider impact. They stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts to address regional challenges and promote security and stability across the region.

The discussions reflected the two countries’ shared interest in maintaining dialogue and strengthening cooperation on issues of mutual concern.
