Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the Acting Prime Minister of Kuwait, has directed the Ministry of Interior to take firm and decisive action against security violations as part of efforts to ensure public safety during the final days of Ramadan.
Sheikh Fahad chaired a meeting at Bayan Palace with key officials from the Ministry of Interior, including Assistant Undersecretaries and security experts. Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, was also present during the discussions. The meeting focused on reviewing security and traffic management plans in preparation for the last ten days of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
The Acting Prime Minister praised the Ministry of Interior for its ongoing efforts in maintaining national security. He emphasized the importance of intensifying both security measures and traffic management to ensure the comfort of citizens and residents. The goal is to create a safe environment for people to worship, shop, and move around during this busy period.
One of the key areas of focus was ensuring the security of mosques and managing congestion in areas with high foot traffic. Sheikh Fahad stressed the need for strong action against any security and traffic violations, underlining the necessity of maintaining readiness and responding swiftly to any developments.
The Acting Prime Minister also called for increased coordination between various security departments to ensure the effective execution of plans and a prompt response to emerging security issues. He concluded the meeting by urging the continuous improvement of security performance and enhanced cooperation between all sectors to maintain the highest levels of safety and security.
