IBPC Qatar Celebrates 50th Monday Bites Session

The Indian Business and Professionals Council Qatar marked the 50th edition of its Monday Bites platform in Doha, underscoring the growing role of professional networking and skills development within the expatriate business community.

Held at the Ibis Hotel Doha under the theme “The Golden 50: The Mini Bites Encore,” the event brought together speakers from previous sessions to share brief insights on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and workplace transformation.

The gathering was attended by Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India in Doha, who praised the organisation’s efforts to strengthen collaboration and professional engagement among Indian expatriates in Qatar.

Thaha Muhammed Abdul Kareem, president of the council, said the initiative had evolved from a small networking concept into a broader platform supporting learning, strategic partnerships and business readiness.

Since its launch, the Monday Bites programme has hosted dozens of speakers discussing topics ranging from artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to resilience, sustainability and communication skills. Organisers said the sessions have attracted more than 2,000 participants, including entrepreneurs, executives and professionals working across multiple sectors in Qatar.

A key announcement during the event was the launch of the “IBPC AI Advantage Certification” programme, which aims to help members develop practical knowledge in artificial intelligence, workflow automation and digital productivity tools.

The initiative reflects wider efforts across Gulf countries to encourage digital transformation and AI adoption as governments and private sector organisations invest heavily in technology-driven economic growth.
