Hot Weather and Dusty Winds Expected Across Bahrain

Hot weather and dusty winds are expected to impact Bahrain today, according to the latest forecast from the Meteorology Directorate. These conditions will likely affect several regions across the Kingdom, especially during daytime hours when temperatures rise rapidly.

Forecasters predict clear skies accompanied by rising heat and stronger winds. Northwesterly winds will range from 12 to 17 knots in the morning. However, wind speeds could increase to 18 to 23 knots by afternoon. Later in the evening, the wind is expected to weaken and shift directions.

In addition to the hot weather and dusty winds, wave activity will show noticeable variation. Coastal areas may experience wave heights of 1 to 3 feet. Offshore, waves could reach between 3 and 5 feet. These sea conditions may affect small boats, fishing trips, and beach plans.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach a peak of 44°C. At night, temperatures will drop to around 31°C, still leaving the air uncomfortably warm. Humidity levels will also fluctuate, ranging from 65% early in the day to only 10% in the afternoon.

Furthermore, tide changes may influence sea-based operations. High tides are expected at 6:25 AM and 6:55 PM. Low tides will occur at 12:58 AM and again at 12:54 PM. These patterns may impact boat schedules and fishing activities.

Sunrise is at 5:11 AM, while sunset will happen at 6:28 PM. Moonrise occurs at 8:54 AM, followed by moonset at 9:12 PM. These times may affect evening events and outdoor gatherings.

Despite the hot weather and dusty winds, no official warnings have been issued. Still, residents should stay hydrated and limit exposure during peak hours.

Hot weather and dusty winds continue to define Bahrain’s harsh summer climate.
