The Hajj Qur’an Gift Distribution has officially begun this year. On Sunday, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance started handing out copies of the Holy Qur’an to Hajj pilgrims. These gifts come from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
This annual initiative reflects the leadership’s strong commitment to serving Islam and its followers. The Hajj Qur’an Gift Distribution ensures each pilgrim departs with a meaningful and spiritual reminder.
In total, 2,521,380 copies of the Holy Qur’an will be distributed during this year’s Hajj, as part of the Qur’an gift distribution effort. All copies are printed at the King Fahd Complex for Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Madinah. They come in different sizes to suit various needs and preferences.
Importantly, these Qur’ans include translations in several international languages, enhancing the Hajj Qur’an Gift Distribution efforts. This allows pilgrims from all nationalities to understand the meanings of the verses. The diversity of translations helps promote inclusivity and accessibility.
This initiative highlights Saudi Arabia’s leading role in caring for pilgrims. From their arrival in Makkah to their departure, pilgrims receive extensive attention and support.
As the pilgrims prepare to leave the holy cities, it provides a sacred gift that stands as a final gesture of generosity. It represents the honor and privilege the Kingdom feels in serving the guests of Allah.
