Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), has been awarded the prestigious Saudi Media Forum Award for the second season of its anime series “Future’s Folktales.” The series was honored in the media communication activities category, recognizing the company’s efforts to create content that promotes Saudi identity while reaching a global audience.
This achievement follows a comprehensive communication and media campaign launched alongside the series. The campaign included three global premiere screenings—two in Riyadh and one in Tokyo—which helped boost international visibility.
In addition, a widespread public relations initiative garnered significant attention, resulting in 477 news articles across the Arab world and Japan. On social media, the campaign proved immensely successful, amassing over 151 million views. High-profile advertisements also appeared in major streets across Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Eastern Province, further amplifying the series’ reach.
