Family-Centered Healthcare: NMC Royal Hospital Abu Dhabi Expands Services for All Ages

NMC Royal Women’s Hospital Abu Dhabi has officially rebranded as NMC Royal Hospital Abu Dhabi, marking a significant shift toward family-centered healthcare. The renamed facility now offers expanded services for patients of all ages and genders while maintaining its renowned women’s health expertise.

The hospital has introduced new specialty clinics, including pediatrics, family medicine, and internal medicine. These additions complement its existing obstetrics and gynecology services, which now operate 24/7. The transformation ensures that families can access complete medical care in one trusted location.

Dr. Zaka Ullah Khan, Chief Clinical Officer of NMC Healthcare, emphasized the hospital’s evolved mission. “We’re preserving our women’s health excellence while extending family-centered healthcareto men and children,” he said. “This ensures seamless, high-quality treatment for every life stage.”

Despite its broader focus, the hospital remains a leader in women’s health. Its Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) continues providing critical support for premature and ill newborns. Core specialties like fertility treatments, fetal medicine, and in-house physiotherapy remain central to its offerings.

Since 2015, the 94-bed facility has combined advanced technology with compassionate care. Its multidisciplinary team includes experts in pediatrics, internal medicine, nutrition, and radiology, reinforcing its family-centered healthcare approach.

On May 28, the hospital hosted a rebranding ceremony attended by staff, community members, and NMC Healthcare leaders. The event highlighted its commitment to integrated, world-class medicine.

David Hadley, CEO of NMC Healthcare, noted the strategic importance of the change. “This isn’t just a new name—it’s our pledge to deliver family-centered healthcare across the UAE,” he said. “We’re investing in accessible, personalized care for healthier communities.”
