Eid Al Adha Celebrations in Qatar Set for Asian Town and Al Khor

The Ministry of Interior has announced two full days of Eid Al Adha celebrations in Qatar, planned at key venues in Al Khor and Asian Town. These events will feature cultural performances, music, and awareness activities for the whole community.

The celebrations will begin with Eid Al Adha prayer (Salat) at Asian Town Cricket Stadium in the Doha Industrial Area. The Ministry has urged attendees to arrive before 4:15 am with wudhu completed.

Following the prayer, festivities will start on the first and second day of Eid. From 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm, both Barwa Workers Sports Complex in Al Khor and Asian Town will host community-focused events. These events aim to unite people from various backgrounds in a festive atmosphere.

The Eid Al Adha celebrations in Qatar will include traditional cultural shows and performances by local school students. Musical acts will entertain audiences with orchestral backing, creating a vibrant environment for families and workers alike.

In addition to entertainment, the event will offer free health checkups by private clinics. Organizers will also run safety and health awareness workshops. These sessions are designed to educate and support the large labor community attending the events.

Moreover, attendees can participate in gift raffles and other interactive games. Organizers highlighted that all activities are free of charge and open to everyone, regardless of background or nationality.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized the importance of community involvement during Eid. These celebrations reflect Qatar’s commitment to inclusion and multiculturalism.

Through entertainment and education, Eid Al Adha celebrations in Qatar continue to bring people together in joy and harmony. With events in both Al Khor and Asian Town, everyone in Qatar has an opportunity to share the spirit of Eid.
