Dubai Police are ready for the World Police Summit 2025, starting next Tuesday at Dubai World Trade Centre. The summit will take place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He serves as Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
The World Police Summit 2025 gathers top police leaders, global security specialists, and significant organisations. They will work together to shape the future of policing and enhance international security collaboration.
At Wednesday’s press conference, Brigadier Dr Saleh Rashed Al Hamrani shared details about the upcoming event. Brigadier Al Hamrani serves as Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership at Dubai Police. He highlighted the summit as a leading global forum to discuss modern law enforcement methods.
“This year’s theme is ‘Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing’,” Brigadier Al Hamrani said. “It demonstrates our strong commitment to innovative, technology-driven approaches that enhance global security.”
This edition expects a record-breaking number of participants. Attendance has increased by 25% compared to last year. The summit will attract law enforcement officials, industry leaders, and exhibitors from around the world.
Moreover, over 300 speakers will lead high-level discussions on several critical issues. Topics include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence in policing, organised crime, and crisis management.
Lt. Col. Dr Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Secretary General of the summit, introduced an expanded conference agenda. Al Ghafri, Deputy Director of Forensic Evidence and Criminology at Dubai Police, explained the summit now offers 12 specialised conference tracks. Previously, the summit featured seven.
Key sessions will address smart city security, leadership in policing, and operational use of advanced technologies.
