Building Stronger Families: Royal Humanitarian Foundation Empowers Communities with Positive Habits

In Kuwait, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation organized a training workshop to promote positive habits for happy families. Coinciding with World Mental Health Day, the event drew 300 participants from diverse segments of society. The initiative highlights the Foundation’s commitment to mental health and family wellbeing, demonstrating how practical strategies can create lasting change.

Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, an educational and family psychology consultant, led the workshop. He emphasized the importance of adopting positive habits for happy families to achieve balance and stability in daily life. Participants explored practical ways to transform daily routines and interactions into meaningful, supportive actions for both individuals and families.

Throughout the workshop, Dr. Al-Khulaifi encouraged attendees to identify negative behavioral patterns that disrupt family harmony. He then guided them in replacing these habits with sustainable, beneficial routines. Participants applied simple yet effective strategies immediately, showing how small changes can greatly improve overall family wellbeing.

Moreover, the workshop addressed the scientific and psychological mechanisms behind habit formation and change. Dr. Al-Khulaifi explained how repetition, consistency, and self-awareness are essential for maintaining positive behaviors. He emphasized that family happiness and cohesion are strengthened when every member practices constructive habits consistently.

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation also provided interactive exercises, allowing participants to practice building positive habits for happy families in real-life scenarios. These activities encouraged collaboration, discussion, and reflection, helping attendees internalize the principles and apply them beyond the workshop setting.

By combining expert guidance, practical tools, and active participation, the Foundation demonstrated how mental health awareness can empower communities. Participants left with a clearer understanding of how to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and foster emotional resilience within their families.

The workshop aligns with the Foundation’s broader mission to support social wellbeing in Kuwait. Through education, training, and awareness campaigns, the organization continues to equip families with the tools they need to thrive emotionally and psychologically in today’s fast-paced society.
