Bilateral Relations Oman Gain Momentum with UAE and Senegal Talks

Bilateral relations Oman received fresh momentum today as senior Omani officials held key meetings with ambassadors from the United Arab Emirates and Senegal. These talks reflected Muscat’s commitment to advancing cooperation and dialogue with both regional and international partners.

General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, welcomed Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Al Maktoum, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, in his office. The two sides reviewed the depth of their historic ties and emphasized the importance of enhancing joint efforts to achieve the aspirations of both leaderships. Their discussion underscored how bilateral relations Oman and the UAE continue to evolve with mutual trust and shared priorities.

During the meeting, both sides focused on strengthening coordination across political, economic, and security fields. They agreed that closer collaboration supports not only their nations’ development but also contributes to broader regional stability. General Al Nu’amani highlighted the importance of translating their strong political will into practical projects that benefit citizens.

Later in the day, General Al Nu’amani also hosted Ibrahima Seck, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal, for another round of talks. The meeting reviewed the progress made in ties between the Sultanate of Oman and Senegal. Discussions centered on joint opportunities across trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.

The two sides also touched upon regional security and international cooperation. Ambassador Seck praised Oman’s constructive role in promoting stability and dialogue both regionally and globally.
