Belarus Prime Minister Arrives in Doha for Official Visit

Doha – Prime Minister of Belarus H E Roman Golovchenko arrived in Doha yesterday for an official visit to Qatar. His Excellency and the accompanying delegation received a warm welcome at Hamad International Airport.

Welcoming the Prime Minister were Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi; Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H E Ibrahim bin Yousef Fakhro; Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Belarus, Abdulaziz Saad Al Kuwari; and Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Belarus to Qatar, Aleksei Malafei.

Golovchenko’s visit is expected to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations. Discussions will focus on key areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, and regional developments. The visit underscores the growing relationship between Qatar and Belarus in various sectors.

The Belarusian delegation will engage in high-level meetings with Qatari officials, aiming to enhance bilateral relations and explore new avenues of collaboration. More details on the outcomes of these discussions are expected in the coming days.
