The Shura Council is taking part in the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) 2025. The event focuses on digital transformation in Bahrain and its growing role in the regional tech scene. BITEX runs alongside the 13th MEET ICT Conference at the Gulf Hotel from November 25 to 27. It is organized by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) in partnership with WorkSmart Events Management.

This year’s theme, “Innovation, Transformation, and Advancement: Artificial Intelligence for the New Economy,” highlights the rapid global shift toward smart solutions. The exhibition brings together international companies, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers. It also showcases the latest developments in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital government services. Through these discussions, the event strengthens the momentum of digital transformation in Bahrain.

Karima Mohammed Al-Abbasi, Secretary-General of the Shura Council, said the Council’s participation supports Bahrain’s national vision to lead in the digital economy. Moreover, she explained that the Council is working to modernize its operations through innovative projects and advanced systems. These efforts help improve transparency, efficiency, and communication with citizens. Moreover, they align perfectly with Bahrain Vision 2030, which seeks a sustainable and technology-driven future.

She also noted that the Council continues to update its tools and methods to match international progress. By adopting new technologies, the Council enhances its performance and strengthens its role in national development. These initiatives show a clear commitment to progress and reflect Bahrain’s steady journey toward modernization. Indeed, the Shura Council sees digital transformation in Bahrain as a foundation for long-term success.

Ahmed Attia Allah Al-Hujairi, CEO of WorkSmart, praised the Council’s participation in BITEX 2025. He also said it highlights how Bahrain’s institutions embrace innovation and cooperate with the private sector. This partnership helps create an integrated digital ecosystem that supports future growth.

The participation of the Shura Council in BITEX 2025 marks another milestone for Bahrain.
