His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, arrived in Saudi Arabia today. He traveled to attend the Gulf Cooperation Council–United States (GCC-US) Summit in the capital city, Riyadh.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will lead Bahrain’s leadership presence at the high-level summit. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia extended the official invitation through Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Upon arrival at Riyadh airport, Prince Salman received a warm welcome from Saudi and Bahraini officials. Saudi Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, greeted him first. Also present was Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain.
Bahrain’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, also joined the welcoming delegation. Several other senior dignitaries took part in receiving the Bahraini Crown Prince, reflecting strong diplomatic ties.
The summit underscores the importance of GCC-US collaboration in addressing shared regional challenges. Bahrain continues to play a vital role in shaping policy and reinforcing stability. As part of Bahrain’s leadership presence, King Hamad and Prince Salman will engage with key international counterparts.
