The launch of the “Al-Mundhir” satellite is a groundbreaking achievement for the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, described it as a historic moment that will be remembered for generations. He emphasized that this milestone places Bahrain on the map of industrial innovation and further boosts the country’s advancements in space sciences.

According to Al-Saleh, this achievement is a direct result of the royal support Bahrain has received. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision and continuous directives have played a significant role in propelling the Kingdom’s growth. Al-Saleh noted that the satellite launch aligns with the Kingdom’s forward-looking approach and meets both present and future needs.

The Chairman expressed great pride in the Bahraini team responsible for the design and development of the “Al-Mundhir” satellite. He highlighted that the satellite’s creation by Bahraini talent showcases the country’s excellence in space technology. This accomplishment, he said, reflects the creativity and determination of Team Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Additionally, Al-Saleh praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs was instrumental in ensuring the satellite’s successful launch. His follow-up and commitment to the project helped make Bahrain’s first satellite a reality.

The Chairman of the Shura Council also noted that March 15th is a national day to celebrate Bahrain’s space science achievements. He lauded the Bahrain Space Team for their dedication and loyalty to the Kingdom. Their hard work has elevated Bahrain’s standing regionally and internationally.

Furthermore, Al-Saleh congratulated the Bahraini people for this remarkable achievement. He explained that the success of the “Al-Mundhir” satellite is a testament to Bahrain’s growing capabilities in space science.

In conclusion, Al-Saleh commended the National Space Science Agency for its essential role in developing ambitious plans. Their ongoing efforts will ensure Bahrain’s prosperity and its place among the world’s leading nations in space sciences.
