Bahraini Competitors Karina and Sahar Compete in the Jameel Rally in Saudi Arabia

Bahraini drivers Karina Abdulrahman Ghuloom and Sahar Darwa are participating in the Jameel Rally in Saudi Arabia. This event, which takes place from April 21 to 26, marks their third consecutive participation. The rally is now in its fourth edition.

The Jameel Rally will feature 45 teams from 37 countries worldwide. This year’s edition is special as it is the first time the rally starts from Petra, Jordan. The competition will pass through five cities in Saudi Arabia, including Tabuk, Al-Ula, Hail, and Al-Qassim. Over six challenging days, participants will cover a distance of 1,500 kilometers.

The rally is a women-only event, and it is the largest of its kind in the Arab region. Competitors from around the world come together to showcase their skills in desert navigation. For Karina and Sahar, it is an exciting opportunity to represent Bahrain on this prestigious stage.

As the event kicks off with registration and technical inspection, the first stage of the rally will begin on April 23. Both Karina and Sahar are enthusiastic about this opportunity. They expressed their pride in representing Bahrain and emphasized their goal of achieving excellent results. The rally presents a platform for them to compete against some of the best female drivers in the world.

Karina and Sahar are grateful for the support they have received from the Bahrain Motor Federation. They thanked Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, for his continuous encouragement of motorsports. This support has been particularly important for women’s participation in motorsports, as it has led to greater visibility and opportunities in events like the Jameel Rally.

The Bahrain team remains committed to delivering top performances throughout the rally. Both drivers are determined to make the Kingdom of Bahrain proud and achieve their best results in the race.
