On Wednesday, the President of the National Audit Office (NAO), Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the Minister of Education, Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, to discuss ongoing cooperation.

During the meeting, Ahmed bin Mohammed reaffirmed the NAO’s goal to support government bodies in applying audit recommendations. This initiative helps ensure better service delivery and strong financial oversight. He stressed that enhancing coordination with audited entities remains a top priority for the office.

The President explained that continuous communication with ministries increases performance and raises service quality for citizens. Moreover, it ensures that public resources are used effectively. The NAO works closely with each entity to help them meet its standards and follow through on improvements.

In turn, the Minister of Education expressed strong appreciation for the NAO’s professional approach. He highlighted the importance of constructive feedback and noted how quickly ministries now respond to audit findings. According to him, enhancing coordination with audited entities strengthens trust between institutions and supports national goals.

Furthermore, the Minister shared that the Ministry of Education collaborates closely with NAO staff. This cooperation allows the ministry to carry out its work smoothly and within clear guidelines. He praised the audit team’s professionalism, adding that this partnership helps enforce principles of transparency and accountability.

Both officials emphasized the value of teamwork between government offices and oversight bodies. They agreed that such cooperation is essential for driving development. They also pointed out that enhancing coordination with audited entities contributes directly to the Kingdom’s long-term vision.
