The Bahrain Space Agency (BSA) took part as a keynote speaker in the launch of the Middle East Space Law and Legislation Committee. This event was organized under the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS). The event was held under the patronage of Professor Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, President of the Union.

Representing the BSA, Rasha Al Emad, Head of Strategic Planning, delivered a detailed presentation on Bahrain’s efforts to build a national regulatory framework for outer space activities.
Her remarks emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to ensuring that its space ambitions are aligned with international law and best practices.
Al Emad also underscored the importance of unified legal structures to support Arab space governance.
She encouraged collaboration among regional states. Additionally, she shared recommendations to guide other Arab nations in drafting their own national space legislation.
