The Survey and Land Registration Bureau held a workshop in Bahrain focused on real estate digital transformation and development projects. The event brought together survey offices to strengthen cooperation with the private sector and improve real estate services.
At the start of the workshop, the Bureau’s President, Bassem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, stressed the importance of private sector partnerships. He explained that these partnerships form a key pillar of the Bureau’s strategies for modernization. Moreover, he noted that the Bureau continues to expand real estate surveying efforts across the Kingdom to raise efficiency and service quality.
He highlighted the essential role of survey offices as active contributors to the development process. According to him, stronger communication channels and regular exchanges of ideas can improve performance. Therefore, collaboration with private offices helps deliver advanced surveying services that match the country’s aspirations for progress.
The workshop also reviewed major initiatives currently underway. Officials presented the updating and automation of the national database, designed to create more accurate and accessible records. In addition, they introduced the Workflow Management System, which allows a full transition to electronic files and real-time transaction tracking. This system will streamline operations, reduce paperwork, and ensure greater transparency.
Furthermore, participants discussed the gradual launch of the Auto-Generation feature. This feature will support the new system and allow smoother integration of data, enabling faster results for both officials and clients. As a result, citizens and investors can expect higher-quality services that save time and resources.
The Bureau emphasized that real estate modernization requires continuous innovation and technology-driven processes. Officials underlined that real estate digital transformation is vital for achieving development goals and meeting professional standards. They also noted that modern tools can make Bahrain’s real estate system more competitive on a regional level.
The workshop concluded with a renewed commitment to expand partnerships with private offices. Leaders encouraged survey offices to adopt new technologies and align with national priorities. Ultimately, the Bureau confirmed that real estate digital transformation will remain a central focus in shaping the future of the sector.
