This program shows Bahrain’s strong support for parliamentary culture, legal training, and regional cooperation. It also builds stronger ties between the Council of Representatives and other government institutions in the region.

The group included 60 officers from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. Participants came from military courts, the Defense Force, the National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Security Agency. Their visit also aimed to promote parliamentary knowledge, legal understanding, and cooperation between countries. The Parliament Secretariat in Bahrain gave them clear insights into the Council’s role in national development.

During the opening session, Secretariat staff gave a full overview of Bahrain’s legislative progress. They explained how the Council was created and how it grew during the reform era. They also showed how the Council raises political awareness and supports parliamentary diplomacy. Participants toured the main parliamentary hall and learned how sessions are run, gaining hands-on experience of parliamentary procedures.

The course focuses on building regional cooperation and strong partnerships. It gives military judges a chance to learn about legislative processes and best practices in parliament work. It also highlights the need for dialogue between government institutions and society to strengthen democratic practices.

Observers said the Parliament Secretariat in Bahrain is becoming a key center for legislative education and regional cooperation.
