Bahrain Highlights the Importance of Dialogue and Coexistence Through National Initiatives

Bahrain continues its efforts to promote a culture of dialogue as part of its broader vision for peace. The President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs welcomed members of the Ta’ayush Association for Tolerance and Interfaith Coexistence at his office.

During the meeting, the Ta’ayush team presented a book titled In the Hospitality of the King of Peace. The publication outlines Bahrain’s leadership in dialogue, highlighting key visits by global religious leaders. These include the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and the late Pope Francis.

The President praised the association’s work, noting its efforts to promote a culture of dialogue both locally and internationally. He emphasized Bahrain’s position as a beacon of religious harmony and cultural openness in the region.

According to him, the association’s programs play a key role in strengthening mutual respect among different communities. They also reflect Bahrain’s humanitarian and national commitment to peaceful coexistence.

Moreover, he reaffirmed the council’s full support for any initiative that aims to build bridges between faiths and civilizations. He stressed the need to promote a culture of dialogue in today’s divided world.

He also recognized the association’s success in highlighting the values of tolerance, understanding, and moral responsibility. These efforts help share Bahrain’s bright social image built on diversity and unity.

Meanwhile, the association’s president expressed gratitude for the warm reception and ongoing support from the council. He stated that Ta’ayush would continue to contribute to Bahrain’s global image as a model of peaceful living.

He also noted that national partnerships help spread the message of unity and peace more effectively across communities. The meeting closed with optimism and agreement to keep collaborating on shared goals.

Bahrain remains committed to reinforcing its place as a regional hub for interfaith understanding. It will continue working with civic groups to promote a culture of dialogue on every platform possible.
