Bahrain Ensures Stable Prices and Goods Availability for Ramadan

Bahrain ensures stable prices and goods availability as the Ministry of Industry and Commerce intensifies efforts ahead of Ramadan. Minister Abdullah Adel Fakhro emphasized the ministry’s commitment to securing essential products and maintaining price stability. With the holy month approaching, the ministry collaborates with the private sector to meet market demands.

The minister highlighted the importance of ensuring a steady supply of essential food items. Authorities continue monitoring prices and availability to prevent shortages. Additionally, the ministry works closely with retailers to guarantee that promotional offers remain fair and beneficial to consumers. As a result, Bahrain ensures stable prices and goods availability throughout the year, especially during important seasons like Ramadan.

To protect consumers, the ministry launched the third edition of the “Consumer Friend” initiative. This national program promotes affordability and price stability by offering discounted Ramadan baskets. It also strengthens cooperation between businesses and government agencies. By encouraging social responsibility, Bahrain ensures stable prices and goods availability while supporting sustainable economic practices.

The Consumer Protection Department also introduced an educational campaign titled “In the Month of Goodness, Our Consumer is Different.” Through official social media channels, this initiative informs citizens about smart shopping and fair trade practices. Additionally, participating stores display awareness messages to educate shoppers about their rights.

Retailers who actively support this initiative will receive official recognition. The ministry will honor businesses that contribute to consumer protection efforts. Certificates and plaques will be awarded to acknowledge their role in promoting ethical commerce.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce urges all private sector representatives to join the “Consumer Friend” initiative. By participating, businesses can enhance their reputation and build consumer trust. The ministry also encourages the public to report any violations through official complaint channels.

Bahrain ensures stable prices and goods availability by fostering strong collaboration between the government and private sector. These initiatives reflect a commitment to economic stability, consumer rights, and a smooth shopping experience during Ramadan.
