Bahrain and Serbia Strengthen Infrastructure Cooperation Through Diplomatic Meeting

Bahrain and Serbia continue to deepen their diplomatic ties through active infrastructure cooperation. During a recent meeting in Manama, this mutual interest took center stage.

Engineer Ibrahim bin Hassan Al-Hawaj, Minister of Works in Bahrain, welcomed Tatjana Jaračević, the Serbian Ambassador to Bahrain. The meeting focused on exploring areas for enhanced infrastructure cooperation between both countries. It also reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening long-standing bilateral relations.

The Minister emphasized the significance of open collaboration in the infrastructure sector. He noted that both Bahrain and Serbia benefit from aligning development goals. He also highlighted Bahrain’s desire to work more closely with Serbia to create value through joint initiatives.

Furthermore, Al-Hawaj underscored Bahrain’s strategy to modernize national infrastructure while expanding global partnerships. He expressed confidence that such meetings support these goals. In addition, he welcomed future exchanges that promote innovation and knowledge-sharing.

On her part, Ambassador Jaračević expressed her gratitude for Bahrain’s hospitality and openness. She praised Bahrain’s readiness to engage in meaningful infrastructure cooperation. She also confirmed Serbia’s eagerness to contribute to joint projects that serve both nations.

Moreover, she described the meeting as an important step forward in diplomatic and technical dialogue. She believed that mutual respect and trust would guide the next stages of cooperation.

As the meeting progressed, both sides agreed on the potential of future collaboration. They identified infrastructure as a gateway to deeper economic ties. They also acknowledged the importance of cultural and professional exchanges to enrich cooperation.

Notably, the conversation focused on real opportunities. These included knowledge transfer, infrastructure planning, and capacity building. The officials agreed that practical steps must follow the dialogue to ensure impact.

By prioritizing infrastructure cooperation, Bahrain and Serbia are setting a strong example of regional diplomacy. Their continued engagement reflects a shared vision for sustainable development and cross-border collaboration.

Ultimately, the meeting in Manama reinforced a clear message: Bahrain and Serbia will continue building bridges—literally and diplomatically—through sustained infrastructure cooperation.
