The Applied Design Thinking Workshop will take place in Bahrain on August 27–28, 2025. Organized by the MENA Innovation Academy, the event will equip professionals with practical tools for innovation. The initiative comes from Bahrain FinTech Bay and the Reboot Institute for Coding.

The Applied Design Thinking Workshop focuses on practical training for startup founders, designers, analysts, and product managers. Participants will explore five core stages of the design thinking process. These stages include understanding problems, brainstorming solutions, prototyping ideas, and testing user feedback.

Qubstudio, a global design company, will lead the training. Their expert team will blend theory with real-world application. Trainers will also share research methods used by major firms like Google, Apple, and IBM.

Participants will apply design thinking to real challenges in the banking sector. Through hands-on activities, they will explore customer needs and develop user-friendly solutions. The workshop includes case studies that showcase success stories from different industries.

Bahrain FinTech Bay’s CEO emphasized the importance of future-ready talent. He highlighted how design thinking can reshape business strategies. The program aims to empower participants to create meaningful impact within their organizations.

According to Qubstudio’s senior designer, design thinking promotes creativity even in traditional sectors. The workshop aims to prove that innovation can be both structured and imaginative.

The Applied Design Thinking Workshop will take place in person. Registration is open to professionals across Bahrain and the wider region. Early signups are encouraged due to limited seats.

The Applied Design Thinking Workshop provides a unique chance to learn world-class innovation techniques. Participants will walk away with real skills they can use immediately.
