Doha, Qatar – His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, presided over the Council’s first meeting of 2025 at the Amiri Diwan on Monday.
The meeting was attended by HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, Vice Chairman of the Council. HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani was also present, along with other Council members.
During the session, the Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations from its fourth meeting of 2024. They also assessed the project follow-up report and discussed the progress of the state’s economic priorities. Appropriate decisions were taken accordingly.
Additionally, the Council addressed various agenda items related to economic and investment strategies. They made key decisions to support Qatar’s economic growth and long-term development goals.
