Al Ain Family Tragedy: Three Killed in Crash

An Al Ain family tragedy unfolded late Friday night, ultimately resulting in the deaths of three family members. The victims included a father, his daughter, and one of his sons. The crash occurred as the family drove home from a dinner gathering in Al Razeen.

Earlier that evening, relatives said the family had spent time at their private rest house, known locally as an Azba. They had gathered to enjoy dinner together before later heading back to their main residence. In total, six people rode in the vehicle during the accident. The group included the father, three sons, a daughter, and a domestic worker.

As the vehicle traveled along a dirt road in Al Razeen, it suddenly veered off course and overturned. As a result, the rollover caused fatal injuries to the father, his daughter, and one son. Fortunately, medical teams arrived quickly and transported the survivors to the hospital. Subsequently, doctors treated the injured passengers for various injuries and reported their conditions as stable.

Meanwhile, authorities began an immediate investigation into the cause of the crash. Understandably, the Al Ain family tragedy devastated the local community. Funeral prayers took place on Saturday at Al Matawa Mosque. Soon after, family members laid the deceased to rest at Al Matawa Cemetery, located nearby.

In response, many residents attended the funeral to show their support and offer condolences. Furthermore, the brother of the deceased father expressed deep sorrow after the tragedy. He said the family was heartbroken but accepted God’s will. Additionally, he prayed for strength for the entire family during this painful time.

Following the incident, residents have raised concerns about road safety in remote areas like Al Razeen. Specifically, many called for better lighting and clearer signage on unpaved desert roads. They also urged drivers to remain cautious, especially at night. Ultimately, the Al Ain family tragedy stands as a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers on rural roads.
