Ajman University Celebrates Shared Achievements at 2025 Reunion Gala

Under the theme ‘Together, We Can’, Ajman University (AU) successfully hosted its 2025 Reunion Gala. The event spotlighted milestones and future aspirations. The gala took place under the patronage of Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, and Chairman of Ajman University’s Board of Trustees.

Dr. Sheikh Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Ruler’s Court, attended the gala alongside distinguished alumni, strategic partners, and university supporters. The event underscored AU’s mission-driven future as a private, non-profit institution. It is dedicated to inclusiveness, excellence, innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility. These values align closely with the UAE’s national vision.

A highlight of the evening was a stunning laser show. It artistically unveiled the campaign’s pillars and the University’s forward-looking vision through an impressive display of visuals and sound.

In his welcoming address, AU Chancellor Dr. Karim Seghir stated, “This evening celebrates not only what we’ve achieved together, but what we are determined to accomplish moving forward. As a non-profit university, every contribution is reinvested directly into students, faculty, and society. We are building not just a university, but a movement for access, excellence, and a better tomorrow.”

Dr. Seghir further emphasized the transformative potential of collective effort, saying, “Together, we can expand opportunity. Together, we can light the path for those who will, in turn, light the way for others. And I am confident that together, we will.”

The gala also highlighted AU’s recent international achievements. These include its placement among the top 500 universities globally and securing the number one position in the UAE for employer reputation according to the 2025 QS World University Rankings. Additionally, AU earned top rankings within the UAE for Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. It also achieved second place for Computer Science, Information Systems, and Mathematics.

A significant part of the event was the Recognition Ceremony. During this ceremony, partners and donors were honored for their ongoing support and substantial contributions. Dr. Sheikh Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi and Dr. Karim Seghir presented awards to the following entities: Ali AlAssi, Al Rostamani Group, AWRostamani Group, Dar Al Ber Society, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, Fast Building Contracting, IFFCO, International Charity Organization, and Tiger Group.

The memorable evening concluded with engaging performances, a dinner reception, and a raffle draw. The raffle had exceptional prizes sponsored by the university’s generous partners.
