President of Supreme Council of Health Opens IT Department at Bahrain Cardiac Center.

The Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Cardiac Center has inaugurated its new Information Technology Department, marking a significant step in advancing digital healthcare services. The ceremony was led by Lieutenant General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, in conjunction with the 57th anniversary of the Bahrain Defense Force.

The event was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of defense Affairs, and Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health. The ceremony commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by an address highlighting the importance of the new department. The attendees then toured the facility, where they were briefed on its cutting-edge technology and advanced equipment designed to enhance digital transformation in healthcare.

During the event, Brigadier General Dr. Sheikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services, presented a commemorative gift to the President of the Supreme Council of Health.

Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa emphasized that the advancements in Bahrain’s medical information technology infrastructure are a result of continued support from national leadership. He acknowledged the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister. He also praised the Bahrain defense Force for its expertise and contributions to national progress, recognizing the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on its role in strengthening the nation’s healthcare and technological sectors.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Bahrain defense Force, highlighting the institution’s commitment to innovation and excellence in medical services.
