Kyrgyzstan significantly increased its honey exports to Kuwait during the first two months of 2025. According to the National Statistics Committee, the Central Asian nation exported 20.1 tons of honey worth $43,400 to Kuwait. This marks a remarkable 2.5-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024. In January and February of 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported only 7.9 tons of honey to Kuwait, valued at $26,700. The list of buyers extends further, with 3.1 tons going to Bahrain, 0.5 tons to Albania, 0.4 tons to Japan, 0.2 tons to Azerbaijan, 0.1 tons to Kazakhstan, and 0.1 tons to Saudi Arabia. An additional 1.8 tons were shipped to various other countries.
