Minister of Information Applauds Role of Bahrain Journalists Association in Advancing Journalism

The Minister of Information met with Issa Al Shaiji, the President of the Bahrain Journalists Association, to discuss enhancing collaboration between the Ministry and the Association. The meeting aimed to explore ways to strengthen the relationship and further promote journalism in Bahrain.

The Bahrain Journalists Association has been an essential partner in Bahrain’s development, reflecting the country’s progress and achievements.

The Minister reassured the Association of the Ministry’s commitment to continuing efforts to support and develop the Bahraini media system. These efforts are aimed at maintaining the prestige and professionalism of the national press. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to cooperation with the Bahrain Journalists Association, which has been crucial in strengthening the role of the Bahraini press in the broader development process.

Al Shaiji, in turn, expressed gratitude for the Minister’s ongoing support. He acknowledged the Ministry’s significant efforts to modernize and enhance Bahrain’s media sector. Al Shaiji also praised the constructive collaboration between the Ministry and the Bahrain Journalists Association, which continues to benefit the press and media industry.
