Bahrain Strengthens Oversight by Enhancing Coordination with Audited Entities

Bahrain continues to improve transparency by enhancing coordination with audited entities. This effort aims to boost efficiency and protect public funds. On Wednesday, the President of the National Audit Office (NAO), Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the Minister of Education, Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, to discuss ongoing cooperation.

During the meeting, Ahmed bin Mohammed reaffirmed the NAO’s goal to support government bodies in applying audit recommendations. This initiative helps ensure better service delivery and strong financial oversight. He stressed that enhancing coordination with audited entities remains a top priority for the office.

The President explained that continuous communication with ministries increases performance and raises service quality for citizens. Moreover, it ensures that public resources are used effectively. The NAO works closely with each entity to help them meet its standards and follow through on improvements.

In turn, the Minister of Education expressed strong appreciation for the NAO’s professional approach.
